Spring has finally arrived!
A very early sign of spring of course, is the new daylights savings time. Boy that got everyone hopping!
Now that spring is officially here, your thoughts might be turning to the outdoors. While it's a bit early to start planting, it isn't too early to start planning your garden.
Grab ahold of those seed catalogs, check out your favorite blooming flowers and colours and start working your plan.
If you're like me however, you're still trying to get your indoors organized first. I think I'll head up to the local nursery and scout out some really cool pots and containers. I have several plants that are in baskets, desparately seeking a new home.
Yes, spring has arrived!

Ok...it's only February, but being close to Valentine's Day, gets you thinking about spring. It won't be long before you're outside in your slippers checking out the soggy garden and flower beds. Now is the time to start planning your garden if you haven't already done so. There are lots of on-line resources to get you started. Check out www.flower-gardening-made-easy.com or do a search on your local "horticultural society".
Keep in mind, that you must have time for all those other "list" things too. While you're dreaming of your sunny backyard in all its' glory, don't forget about that laundry piling up!

Happy New Year!
Yes, I know we're well into 2007 already, but I was just beginning to think about my goals for this new year.
In 2006, I met some of my goals, but not all of them. I vow to make a more manageable list for 2007.
How about you? Started thinking about your 2007 goals? Want to shed a few pounds? Get organized? Start a new hobby? Find more time for family and friends?
Whatever's on your list for 2007, we'll be discussing it here in the coming weeks. Where to find the best information on organizing, reducing clutter, shopping smarter, eating healthier, and developing healthy habits.
Until then, get those lists started!

Life is a List
Life is a list of many to-dos. While we all have the same amount of time on our hands, how you use it is the key to a balanced home and family life. Do you try to do too many things yourself? Some people feel that it's not right if they don't do it themselves. Well..let go. Perfection is not necessary. Even if you must do it all yourself....perfection is not necessary. Get it? Good. Now go on and tackle one of those 50 chores you have and "git r done".
Speaking of lists, (shopping lists that is), happy thanksgiving to our U.S. friends. I recently returned from a trip to Pennsylvania on the weekend. Our waiter at the Olive Garden (a must stop every year), was chatting with us about black Friday. For those of you who don't know what black Friday is, it's the day after Thanksgiving in the U.S. (referring to a shopping day), sort of like boxing day in Canada. Now...did you know that black friday originated to describe a big selling day in retail where retailers begin to see a profit, or be-in-the-black? I didn't know that....see....you can learn something new everyday!
