Life is a List

Life is a list of many to-dos. While we all have the same amount of time on our hands, how you use it is the key to a balanced home and family life. Do you try to do too many things yourself? Some people feel that it's not right if they don't do it themselves. Well..let go. Perfection is not necessary. Even if you must do it all yourself....perfection is not necessary. Get it? Good. Now go on and tackle one of those 50 chores you have and "git r done".

Speaking of lists, (shopping lists that is), happy thanksgiving to our U.S. friends. I recently returned from a trip to Pennsylvania on the weekend. Our waiter at the Olive Garden (a must stop every year), was chatting with us about black Friday. For those of you who don't know what black Friday is, it's the day after Thanksgiving in the U.S. (referring to a shopping day), sort of like boxing day in Canada. Now...did you know that black friday originated to describe a big selling day in retail where retailers begin to see a profit, or be-in-the-black? I didn't know that....see....you can learn something new everyday!
